SPECIAL BABINGKA CAKE FROM SUMBAWA

Babingka cake is one of traditional cake from Sumbawa. We can find this cake in traditional market and this cake always called as market cake. Babingka is made of sticky rice flour which mix with young grated coconut, coconut milk, sugar, and palm sugar. This is the way to make babingka cake. We need:
v  250 gr sticky rice flour
v  100 gr young grated coconut
v  250 ml coconut milk
v  100 gr palm sugar
v  25 gr sugar
Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, then knead until smooth. Smear oil in a baking pan and don’t forget to put baking paper. Then put babingka dough into the pan
  2. Bake babingka in the oven for 30 minutes until cook. Remove and let it cool. Cut into pieces and serve
