Mie Aceh is a traditional dish that
only exists in Aceh. All of people in Aceh like this food. Mie Aceh was very
easy to make because of the material that is easy to get in the traditional
market. This is the way how to make mie
Aceh:
Ingredients:
- 500 grams
of wet yellow noodles
- ¼ kg
shrimp (crab)
- 750 ml
chicken broth
- 150
grams of beef, diced
- 4
cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves
onion, thinly sliced
- 1
tomato, cut into pieces
- 1 piece
leek / celery, thinly sliced
- 50
grams of bean sprouts, wash
- 1 tablespoon
soy sauce
- 1
teaspoon salt
- coconut oil
Seasonings are mashed:
- 6 cloves
onion
- 5
cloves of garlic
- 2 red
chilies
- 2 cm
turmeric, burned
- 1/2
teaspoon pepper
Instructions:

Heat oil in frying pan.

Fry thinly garlic, onion and mashed spices until fragrant.
·
Put beef, stir and cook until the meat changes color.
·
Then Add shrimp, and broth. Mix well.
·
Put salt, bay leaf and pepper. Cook until meat, and
shrimp cooked.
·
If the water is reduced add tomato and bean sprouts,
then add the noodles and soy sauce. Stir until all ingredients are well blended
and matured.
·
Serve noodle on a plate and garnish them with a slice
cucumber and fried onion.
