KLEPON

Klepon

Klepon is Javanese traditional cake. In aceh this cake we call as boh rom-rom.  This cake is so delicious and sweet with brown sugar in it.

Ingredients:
·         300 gr sticky rice flour
·         30 gr sagu
·         8 pandan leaves
·         150 gr brown sugar
·         300 gr shred coconut
·         Some water
·         A pinch of salt to taste

Instructions:
·         First, grind pandan leaves. Mix with water. Set aside
·         Then in large bowl, mix rice flour and sagu
·         Add pandan liquid and little water. Mix well
·         Take a little dough and make into small ball with brown sugar inside. Do it again until done
·         In a pan, boil some water. Then put all balls into boiling water for 15 minutes.
·         Drain and sprinkle them with shredded coconut
·         Serve
